Charge Nurse LPN/RN

Regency Health & Rehabilitation Center in Yorktown is seeking LPNs for its 60 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

We're looking for caring, warm-hearted nurses who are seeking an opportunity to do meaningful work, an opportunity to put a personal touch on improving the lives of others.

Weekend Nurse Supervisor (RN)

As the part-time RN Weekend Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience.

This is a part-time position, every other weekend.

What you'll do

  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed.
  • Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Assist in training and orientation of new employees.
  • Handle any emergencies or issues that arise during shifts, following established protocols.
  • Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What you need

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to the residents of the health and rehabilitation center, assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Those duties include but are not limited to: bathing, dressing, serves and collects food trays, feeds residents, measures and records weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
